GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS
These general terms and conditions imply a legal agreement between the buyer, client or user of the services and Glaciar Turismo EVT 18.018 of VECER S.R.L, fully understanding that you have read and understood the general terms and conditions detailed below.
1) The price and/or reservation of the services that make up the tour, transfer or service are subject to modifications without prior notice when there is an alteration in the services, modifications in the costs or in the expected exchange rates, for reasons not attributable to the parties.
2) All amounts paid before the final confirmation of the services are received as a reservation. The definitive confirmation of the services and respective prices will occur with the issuance of the service order or service voucher with full payment of the contracted services.
Registrations will be received through payment for each reservation whose value is the total of the reservation.
Accommodation for the specified number of nights, in the hotels mentioned in the itineraries or vouchers, order of services, or others of equal or higher category, occupying single, double, triple, etc. rooms, as chosen, with private bathroom according to each case and taxes. Meal regimen as indicated on each occasion. Visits and excursions included in the purchased package and detailed in the vouchers. Transfers to and from airports, terminals and hotels, when indicated. The planned number of days of accommodation taking into account that the day of hotel accommodation is calculated from 3:00 p.m. and ends at 10:00 a.m. the following day, regardless of the arrival and departure time and the complete or partial use of it. . The hotel industry considers arrival as a full day, even if the accommodation period is shortened due to time differences. The duration of the tour will be indicated in each case taking as the first day, the day of departure and as the last day including the day of departure from the destination, regardless of the departure or arrival time on the first or last day. The rooms must be vacated at 10:00 am on the last day, leaving the hotel and/or luggage storage facilities available to the passenger until the time the passenger picks them up. The assignment of the rooms will be made upon the arrival of the passengers in accordance with what was purchased and specified in the voucher, and according to availability at the time of check-in. When the passenger requests to change the assigned room for a higher category, the corresponding price difference will be paid by the passenger. All rooms are standard category, unless otherwise specified in the issued documentation. Excursions are not redeemable under any conditions. In the case of any contracting of optional excursions, they are at the expense and risk of the passenger at the time of contracting them, releasing Glaciar Turismo from all responsibility linked to the contracting and/or provision of these.
The excursion times can be modified up to 10 hours before the time informed in advance, and the return time can also be modified. The search is carried out by the hotel informed by the passenger and documented in the service voucher. Failure to appear at the reported search time implies loss of service without the right to any refund. In the case of services or excursions without transfer with presentation at a port of embarkation or starting point of activity, failure to appear at the time informed in the documentation implies the loss of what was contracted without the right to any refund. The passenger may request with the local operator to change the schedules of the included excursions, as long as their request can be satisfied, otherwise, it will be adjusted to what is regular and scheduled.
1) Extras, drinks, laundry, tips, boarding fees, entrance fees to national parks, service fees, VAT and other current and/or future taxes, nor any service that is not expressly indicated in the service order issued by the travel agent.
2) Meals and/or additional expenses or damages caused by cancellations, delays in departures or arrivals of means of transportation, or for unforeseen reasons beyond the control of the company.
3) Food en route, except those that were expressly included in the programs.
4) Expenses and interest on credit and/or payment card operations.
5) Any other expense that the passenger must make, derived from unforeseeable circumstances or force majeure, will be borne by the passenger, without the right to reimbursement or compensation of any kind.
The company reserves the right to have any passenger leave the tour, at any point during the tour, whose conduct, behavior, state of health or other serious reasons, in the opinion of the company, cause danger or cause inconvenience to the remaining travelers. or may undermine the success of the excursion or its normal development.
The passenger must be informed about everything related to the documentation and visa necessary for the trip that he or she has purchased, and about the requirements of the immigration, customs and health authorities of the destinations included in the tour. Glaciar Turismo is NOT responsible if, due to the lack of said documentation, the contracted services are not provided, nor will it make refunds of amounts paid for the same reason. It is the sole responsibility of the traveler to possess all the necessary documentation for personal identification, before, during and upon arrival at the destination, or upon return to origin and to comply with the requirements required by the aforementioned authorities. This is extremely important when it comes to foreigners, residents, minors, etc.
1) In the case of withdrawal that affects services contracted firmly by the agency, the reimbursement of these will be subject to the contractual conditions under which the respective companies provide their services (hotels, transportation, excursions, etc.).
2) In all cases of refunds, the company may retain the price of the expenses incurred plus the ten percent commission of the services contracted with third parties, except for special conditions mentioned in the vouchers.
The right conferred on the client by the tourist services contract may be assigned or transferred to other people only once, up to 30 days before the departure date, provided that the requirements of the carrier, hotelier or service provider do not oppose it. services. In the event that passengers are of different ages (older-younger), the price will be adjusted according to the rates in force at the time of the assignment or transfer. In all cases of assignment or transfer, and even if the documentation was not issued, the company may receive a surcharge of 10% of the amount.
The postponement or advancement of the dates stipulated in each case may be carried out only once, and in accordance with the modalities, conditions and availability of the different service providers, and a 10% surcharge must be paid as a penalty, and the differences rates for change of season, if applicable. Glaciar Turismo is exempt from all responsibility in the event that it is impossible to satisfy the required changes; In such case, the provisions of the CANCELLATIONS clause will be applied.
1) Glaciar Turismo expressly declares that it acts as an intermediary in the reservation or contracting of the different services linked and included in the respective tour or reservation of services: hotels, restaurants, means of transportation, excursions or other providers. However, the responsibilities of the company, whether it intervenes as a travel organizer or intermediary, will be determined in accordance with the provisions contained in the International Convention Relating to the Travel Contract approved by Law No. 19,918.
2) The company is not responsible for events that occur due to acts of God or force majeure, climatic phenomena or natural events that occur before or during the development of the tour that prevent, delay or in any way hinder the total or partial execution. of the benefits promised by the company, in accordance with the provisions of the Civil Code. Consequently, Glaciar Turismo declines any type of responsibility for damages, losses, theft or prejudice in general, that people or their property may suffer, related to the events mentioned above. Nor will it be responsible for modifications to schedules and/or changes to flights, routes or stopovers, resolved unilaterally by the participating airlines.
1) The organizer Glaciar Turismo (file 18,018) reserves the right, for technical or operational reasons, to totally or partially alter the daily schedule and/or services that make up the tour, before or during its execution.
2) Unless expressly stated otherwise, the stipulated hotels may be changed for another of equal or higher category within the same urban center at no charge to the passenger. Regarding these variations, the passenger will not have the right to any compensation.
3) The company may cancel any tour when any of the circumstances provided for in article 24 of Decree No. 2182/72 arise.
4) Once the trip has begun, the suspension, modification or interruption of services by the passenger for personal reasons of any kind will not give rise to any claim, refund or return.
The passenger retains custody of his or her luggage at all times, remaining subject during transfers to the conditions and modalities of each service provider. Glaciar Turismo will not be responsible for any loss or damage that they may suffer.
Any issue that arises due to the celebration, compliance, non-compliance, extension or termination of this contract may be submitted by the parties to the resolution of the Arbitration Court of the Argentine Association of Travel and Tourism Agencies and/or the Arbitration Courts. that operate in their Regional. In case of submission to said jurisdiction, the contracting parties are subject to and accept all the conditions established by the Regulations of the Arbitration Court.
This contract and, where applicable, the provision of services will be governed exclusively by these general conditions, by Law No. 18,829 and its regulations and by the Brussels Convention approved by Law 19,918. These general conditions together with the remaining documentation given to passengers will make up the Travel Contract established by the aforementioned Convention.
