CANCELLATION POLICY AND MODIFICATIONS

General Cancellation Conditions

In the case of cancellations affecting services that have been firmly contracted by the agency, the refund of these services will be subject to the contractual conditions under which the respective companies (hotels, transportation, excursions, etc.) provide their services. In all cases of refunds, the company may retain the price of the expenses incurred plus a ten percent commission on services contracted with third parties, unless specific conditions are mentioned in the vouchers and/or in the publication of each service on our websites. In all cases, if you are not present at your hotel at the time of the scheduled pick-up for the service, there is no right to request the cancellation of the contracted service.

Specific Cancellation Conditions

Every service, excursion, transfer, or other, has specific cancellation conditions, which are expressed on the website as well as in the service reconfirmation vouchers. By making a purchase, it is understood that these conditions are fully accepted.

It’s very simple. In each transfer or tour service or another, the cancellation conditions are provided. Please contact us to request the cancellation and refund through our contact form.

The refund will be processed as soon as we confirm that it has been made. The refund is made to the same payment method used for the purchase. In case any additional information is needed to process the refund, we will contact you.

Depending on the bank and the card used, it may take between 7 and 25 days to be reflected in your account, although it may take longer with some payment methods.

If you have any questions regarding a cancellation and its refund, please do not hesitate to contact us.

If you paid with a credit card, please note that the refund will appear as a credit on your credit card statement, not in your bank account. In your monthly credit card statement, you will see a credit (deduction) for that amount against the total charged by your bank. Keep in mind that some cases might incur administrative fees for refunds.

If you used a debit card, the refund will directly appear in your bank account statement.

Please be aware that the time it takes for the refund to reflect depends on your bank or issuing institution. For more information, you should contact your bank or issuing institution.

General Modification Conditions:

The postponement or advancement of the specified dates in each case can only be done once, in accordance with the modalities, conditions, and availability of the various service providers. In this situation, an extra charge of 10% as a penalty must be paid, along with any tariff differences due to a change in season if applicable. Glaciar Turismo is not responsible when it becomes impossible to satisfy the requested changes, in which case the cancellation clause will be applied.

Particular Modification Conditions:

Every service, excursion, transfer, or other has specific modification conditions. These conditions are stated on the website and in the service reconfirmation vouchers. By making a purchase, it is understood that you accept these conditions in their entirety. All modifications are always subject to availability, and modifications are accepted at no additional cost within the validity of the paid rate. If there is a change in the rate for the new selected date, the difference must be paid.

If it’s not possible to confirm a change of date for a booked service, you will be informed of the available options. If the options are not suitable for you, the reservation will be subject to the general cancellation conditions.
