Full Day guided Chalt\u00e9n<\/strong><\/span>
\nIt offers the possibility of enjoying the charms of the northern area of \u200b\u200bLos Glaciares National Park all year round.<\/strong>
\n<\/span><\/p>\n

Description<\/h3>\n

The tour begins with the pick-up of passengers from their hotels (1), accompanied by a bilingual guide.
\nWe take route N\u00b011 to the intersection of national route N\u00b040 (32 km) in the direction of El Chalt\u00e9n, we will take the mythical Route 40 bordering Argentino Lake, we will cross the Santa Cruz River (here we will relate Darwin’s experiences together to Fitz Roy, going up this river until very close to there), we continue to the La Leona River, where we will travel through its canyon until we reach, after 1 hour 15 minutes, the old and historic Paso La Leona roadhouse and country Lodge, where if the passenger wishes, it can have a coffee with homemade cakes and enjoy the small museum.<\/p>\n

We continue bordering Viedma Lake, until reaching provincial route N\u00b0 23, with the Andes Mountains in the background, including Fitz Roy and Cerro Torre.<\/p>\n

Before reaching the town we will stop at the Viedma Glacier viewpoint from where you can see a beautiful panoramic view of the Glacier, the Mountain Range and the emblematic Cerro Fitz Roy and Cerro Torre.
\nArriving at the mountain town of El Chalt\u00e9n after approximately 3 hours of travel, having traveled 220 km.<\/p>\n

From the National Parks Interpretation Center we will begin the walk with a guide authorized by the National Park towards the Mirador de los C\u00f3ndores, it is an ascending walk of low difficulty.
\nAfter just over an hour he takes us to this magnificent viewpoint of the entire mountain range that surrounds Fitz Roy and Cerro Torre, including Agujas Mermoz, Saint Exup\u00e9ry, Poincenot, among others.
\nIt is possible to see the Piedras Blancas Glacier from there, with the town of El Chalt\u00e9n below us and also with R\u00edo de las Vueltas Valley in the background, truly a panoramic point of excellence.<\/p>\n

After this walk we head to a restaurant in the center of town to enjoy lunch in an atmosphere with an adventurous spirit.<\/p>\n

In the afternoon we will continue by the northwest, entering the R\u00edo de las Vueltas Valley, after leaving our vehicle and a short walk, we will arrive with the guide to Salto del Chorrillo, a beautiful waterfall with crystalline melt waters, in a forest of wooded environment of lengas and \u00f1ires\u00a0of great beauty.<\/p>\n

Passengers will have approximately one hour to tour the town, enjoy the craft brewery, a classic of El Chalt\u00e9n, or perhaps stop by the waffle shop or a tea house. Then the return to El Calafate begins.<\/p>\n
