Description<\/h3>\n

The excursion Safari Azul Glaciar Perito Moreno begins with the search for passengers in El Calafate (1).
\nOn the way to Los Glaciares National Park, the tour guides will provide you with information about the place, the glacier and the excursion (optional)<\/strong>.
\nFor those who do not hire the transfer service, the activity begins at the Bajo de las Sombras port and ends there.<\/p>\n

Once at the port “Bajo de las Sombras” (Route 11, 70 km from El Calafate) you embark to cross Rico Lake, arriving at the opposite coast after approximately 20 minutes of navigation in front of the imposing south face of the Perito Moreno Glacier.<\/p>\n

Upon disembarking, the tour begins with a 30-minute walk along the shore of the lake and with the view resting on the glacier so as not to miss the opportunity to see landslides.
\nOnce next to the ice it will be time for an unforgettable experience, you will fully enjoy its intense and varied blues, whites and its whimsical shapes.<\/p>\n

Time to take lots of photos of the majestic Perito Moreno Glacier.<\/p>\n

Then the return to the embarkation place begins, always accompanied by an experienced guide. The total walk (round trip to the port) is approximately 1.30 hours through a natural terrain of sand and stones with some slopes and stairs.
\nThe route, of one and a half kilometers, will be along the shore of the lake and through a lush forest with views of the Glacier.<\/p>\n

Finally, you embark to appreciate from the water and, a few meters away, the entire south face of the glacier and be able to see every detail of the marbled ice wall.<\/p>\n

For those who take the transfer service (optional)<\/strong>, the activity continues with a visit to the walkways in front of the Perito Moreno glacier, where you stay for two hours, and then return to the hotels.<\/p>\n

Perito Moreno Glacier Walkways Tour<\/strong>
\nThe guide will explain the available circuit options for exploration. The walk along the walkways<\/b> is self-guided; however, the guide will accompany the group to the main balcony<\/b> and remain there to provide assistance.
\nThe walkways stretch for 5 km and are made up of stairways that descend to within about 300 meters of the glacier’s face.
\nThe Main Balcony is located 146 meters from the walkway access, offering a stunning view. From there, you can observe both the north and south walls, as well as the glacier’s damming area.
\nFrom each of the remaining balconies, distributed along the stairways, you can appreciate the majesty of this ice giant.<\/p>\n

If you’ve traveled independently, you’re free to choose how long you spend visiting the walkways. You can also use this time to enjoy the packed lunch you should bring from El Calafate.[\/vc_column_text][vc_column_text css=”” el_id=”itinerario” css_params=””]<\/p>\n
